Dear Billingsport Early Childhood Center Families,

It is with immense enthusiasm that I am writing to introduce myself as the new principal of
Billingsport Early Childhood Center! My name is Anthony Petrutz, and it is truly an honor to join
this dedicated school community and lead a school focused on laying the educational
foundation for our youngest learners.

Paulsboro holds a special place in my heart, as I am a proud graduate of Paulsboro High
School, Class of 2004! I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from West Virginia
Wesleyan College, and Master’s degree in School Leadership from Wilmington University. I am
currently in my 15th year of education. I began my career at Loudenslager where I taught 5th
Grade, 6th Grade, and Basic Skills over the course of ten years. My administrative career began
at Mary S. Shoemaker School in Woodstown, where I was the Dean of Students for three years,
before returning home to Paulsboro to serve as the Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction
for the district.

I am a firm believer that the partnership between home and school is the single most
important factor in a child’s success. I am committed to fostering a supportive and inclusive
learning environment where every student can thrive, built on the core values of Curiosity,
Kindness, and Growth.

I look forward to an exciting and successful 2nd half of the school year here at Billingsport
Early Childhood Center!

Warmly,

Anthony Petrutz,
Principal Billingsport Early Childhood Center
